I can't believe how great this still sounds 100 years later.

My 2 yr old is obsessed with this for months now. It opened the door for a complete love of Halloween and skeletons 💀

We're here to celebrate this song once again.

My favorite part is when they said 'its spookin time' and spooked us all

EVERYONE talking about the beautiful and their memories etc. and they haven't thought about the thousands and thousands of drawings that were made to create less than 3 minutes of animation, a true work of art.

For anyone who is interested. So the original animation is Silly Symphonies-The Skeleton Dance. The origin can be traced to Walt Disney mid 1928 when he was on the way to NY to arrange a distribution deal for the Mickey Mouse cartoons & record the soundtrack for Steam Boat Willie. It was directed by Walt & animated by Ub Iwerks in 1929. Andrew Gold wrote the Halloween song Spooky Scary Skeletons first released on his album Halloween Howls: Fun & Scary Music in 1996. In 1998 Disney included the song on their VHS tape Disney Sing-Along Songs: Happy Haunting. Party at Disneyland. So this animation is a clip from the original, from 1929 & has probably been cleaned up & has been colourised.

This song is truly undead itself 'cause it revives every October.
