I didn't have many role models for happy marriages until I saw Morticia and Gomez. They have it all: loyalty, sweetness, respect, and obviously intense physical attraction. Love your spouse like this and you'll keep them for life. We're about to celebrate our 16th anniversary. I can't wait.❤️
  • I love that a couple that is supposed to be the opposite of your average family happens to be in one of the healthiest, happiest marriages ever shown

"How long has it been since we've waltz?" "Oh Gomez, hours" Cracks me every time.

Like some wise person said.. These two were into some really romantic but kinky shit and I envy and respect that.

I love how, even though they’ve been married for so long and have children, they’re still so smitten by eachother and every kiss they have feels like the first one 🥺 Relationshipgoals

“You frightened me…” ”Do it again.” Why is that so relatable 😂
  • I always loved the scene of Morticia cutting the roses off thier stems. Everyone loves roses, but think of the thorns and stems as a nuisance. She looked past the flower, and admired everything else.
  • Me and my boyfriend act like them and I've never been more proud and more thankful of anything my life.

I like how they're portrayed as a completely happy marriage while not being all mushy-gushy. Gomez and Morticia simply have perfect chemistry.

Fun fact. In the original precursor comic strip that would eventually become The Adams Family, Gomez and Morticia’s very open displays of affection were intended to be viewed as off putting and creepy. This makes sense when you remember those comics are from the 40’s

I love how Morticias face is always perfectly lit up.

You can tell Raul Julia loved this role. He brought so much energy to this part. Gone too soon.
  • its like theyre constantly falling in love everytime they look at each other

To think there's ppl in the world that would consider Joker and Harley Quinn their relationship goals instead of this

Last night you were unhinged....you were like some desperate howling demon, you frightened me. Do it again.

3:49 "But zhen you are feeling the little black monster." "Pugsley!" Raul Julia's delivery of that one word is just... beyond sublime.
  • 8 years & one failed marriage later, I found my Gomez🖤 This type of love is not only possible but it's mine this time
