When I was little, that was my favorite part in the whole movie. My mouth watered every time I watched that exact scene

I was a band kid in high school-mid 1980’s. After football games, we would go to Pizza Hut and pizzas and pitchers of soda. For past 20 years, we have been making homemade pizzas every Friday. When we bought our current house in SW France, it came with a pizza oven. We love using it.

I’ve had a visceral hatred of Pizza Hut for years, and yet somehow this video makes me want to try it again just to make sure I still hate it

I'm honestly not surprised trying to rehydrate a freeze-dried pizza didn't turn out well, but hey, I appreciate the effort

In the 80's every Pizza Hut store still made their own dough, by the 90's with the exception of thin crust all dough was frozen. If you're wondering why it's hard to reproduce that deep dish flavor, they used a butter flavored oil.

As a kid who grew up with Domino's, Pizza Hut was like a revelation. Those Personal Pan Pizzas were the best reward for a summer reading challenege in elementary school.
