The bastions solo ulting one another the whole game is probably the funniest thing I’ve ever seen. I can imagine how this game played out with the A plot being the tank raging at the supports and the B plot being the bastions feuding.
  • Come for the Kiriko advice, stay for the Bastion feud of the century.
  • I love the trinity of Emongg, Flats, and Jay3's spectator commentary. Like, Jay3 will commentate about what he likes about what the bronze is doing, what he doesn't like, etc, without much bias. Emongg will commentate while trying to educate and give helpful tips. Flats will just roast the shit out of them. Not like that's an issue or as if one way of commentary is better than the other, but I like how the three of them expand that spectrum

Extremely funny that almost every time the friendly mercy comes into POV, she's got the Glock out

As a Kiriko in bronze, our teammates usually have “fox avoidance syndrome” which consists in actively avoiding all the kitsunes you use during the game, they might go the same path a 100 times, but the moment you kitsune there, they decide to try new paths!

This kiri was definitely playing like an ana haha 😅. Kiriko has a lot more to lose from playing back than ana, especially with kiri’s projectile travel time being balanced by added survivability.

There was a game where my brother was playing support and I was playing tank, and he got so confused at one moment he was healing the enemy and trying to damage our team 😂

Hi Kiriko friend! I was once a bronze support player, and I remember playing new to the game, even 6 months in and such. One thing Emongg is really focusing on is that you’re playing too far back, and if you’re anything like I was, you’re playing timidly bc you’re afraid of dying and not adding value from your respawn time. I promise you, you’ll get more value from playing closer and dying every once in a while than playing so far back that your healing isn’t even in range. One thing about kirikos healing is the papers are yellow when they’re within range of healing your target, and blue for when you’re too far and they wont do anything. If you notice they’re blue, get closer! Once again, I know you’re timid and not wanting to die, but that’s what your team is for, your Moira is doing a good job at healing the frontline, and while I’m not saying go frontline, definitely play close back line, or better yet on a cross high ground, so you’ll have an easy escape! Great thing about kiriko is her escapability! You have teleport up every 5-6 secs (can’t remember the exact off the top of my head and too lazy to look it up), when in an opportune time and your tank is pushing, you can teleport to them or better yet walk, and not necessarily push with them, but teleport, or walk, hang back a lil and escape when needed to. And in the rank you’re playing in rn, the enemy team doesn’t know when or really how to punish out of position players so you have more to work with right now to see what works for you! I’ve only really started watching Emongg in the past few months, but one thing he commonly says in bronze games, is don’t play off your cooldowns, don’t be constantly using your abilities. You may be a little hypersensitive towards your cooldowns, not wanting to play off your cooldowns, and knowing the right time to use them. But teleport is one thing you want to use as much as possible in the right moments when you see them. And you may not know the right moments yet, but you’re in bronze, take the time to learn what moments and plays are right for you! I don’t say bronze in terms of derogatory btw, I mean you’re not getting tossed into the deep end into diamond and up and are expected to know everything and anything yet. You’re learning! And as long as you have the willingness and the capacity to learn what works for you, do it! I’m diamond/master, and I’m still learning! That said, your tank was a dumbass 99% of this game. And I’m guessing he’s used to overly aggressive kirikos. Don’t worry about his dumbass, you’re doing ok. So play a lot more forward! Again great thing about kiriko is her survivability and means to escape. A timid way in the back line kiriko does less than a 5-6 deaths kiriko within the fights. (Most of the time, just don’t solely dps w all this power you just got 😂) you’re doing great sweetie!

As a bronze bastion, can confirm that 9/10 times the enemy tank just tries to tank my damage in assault, usually no shield. Ramattra, Rein, Zarya, they all do it. Unless you’re a Sigma or a Dva you’re just gonna die 😭 Also that bastion ult was so funny lmao, based
  • This is my first time watching a spectating bronze by emong and I’m shocked by how nice he is.

This might have been a good way to play Lifeweaver or Ana. Playing cover from farther away and bursting heals when you peek your allies (or they "peek" you). But Kiriko's papers don't bounce off terrain like blossom does. If the target leaves LOS before they get the oncoming heals, the ofuda will home directly at their location, hit the wall, and do nothing. You can't pre-heal in anticipation of allies coming around corners without getting the green "dumb-fire" papers. But the tank needed to learn when not to just be a fatter DPS.
  • @nemebliss
Perfect example of the common support experience. Team overextends and feeds and types "heal diff" in match chat because it's easier to blame your supports instead of trying to see if they could have done something better
  • @evilynx0
that bastion ult was to establish bastion dominance
  • @ItzRetz
A few weeks back I was playing Kiri and my tank decided to full send it into the enemy team during OT and died because he got anti'd and I had no Suzu, and the whole rest of the game he blamed me for 'not healing' him so I just said "dude watch the replay I was constantly healing you and you were anti'd" but he kept going on about how I was throwing and not healing even though I had the top heals in the game.
  • @floressa3504
Hello Kiriko in the video! One thing I learned when playing in Bronze/Silv as Kiriko is how slllLOOOOW the ofuda travel time can feels, and it's slower when you're playing from too far back. dw I get that you're trying to avoid unnecessarily taking damage, but playing a bit closer and aggressively can help. Get comfy with playing closer to your team and keep an eye out for tp-escape-teammate-target just in case anything goes wrong when playing aggressively.
  • @Jpeg.g
I love the sub-plot of the bastions having a dual of the fates the entire game
  • @dumpy8312
It's not that the Kiri wasn't healing, in fact she was throwing so much paper I'm surprised she ever had to reload kunai. The issue is she's trying to heal from a different time zone lmao. That and well the tank didn't realize that being healed doesn't make you invincible
  • People running away from your kitsune rush happens all the way through gold
  • @CQuick30
It's really awesome that Emongg has turned these into mini coaching sessions. He will enjoy watching the gameplay but seems like he can't help giving them advice.
  • @Arkm_OW
I feel like if they knew that the heals have travel time, then they would play closer
