  • @montana4939
Great video . Can’t wait to see the smaller pond complete!
  • I don't want a sawmill but I watch a lot of sawmill videos. 👍
  • Good morning Brock. I enjoy all of your videos as you've probably figured out by now but the one yesterday and today's videos were especially entertaining to this old man. And the fact that you would stop what you're doing to go spend time with your Grandson and Son in law just warms my heart. That's special. God bless and I can't wait to see what you have in store for tomorrow. 🙂🙂👍👍
  • Milling lumber intrigues me. Love the videos and your thoughts. Thanks.

Another informative and entertaining video from Brock at Rockhill Farm!

Howdy Brock! Really helpful info for those shopping for a mill. Looks like the bucket is working out OK for catching the sawdust? Some of my best memories of both my grandfathers was going fishing with them. Nobody has the patience of a grandpa! Good job and thanks for sharing 🤠
  • Awesome videos man. A lot of really good info. Also your comment at 6:42 after measuring all those boards cracked me the hell up 😆
  • Another great video Brock, I should cut some stickers today myself. I find I need more stickers than I have most of the time.
  • I would definitely recommend the mill head cover. It's easy to take off and put on, and it fits well. I don't have a building for my mill yet, so I got the cover when I bought the mill. Keeps the sun from fading the paint, too. And, where you used a clamp to keep the head from moving, I just cut a piece of slabwood the proper size and lay it across the bed between the bunk and the head. I've got arthritis, so I try to stay away from things that require a lot of twisting or turning with my fingers. Little things like that keep me going longer. Your videos are always a joy to watch!

Hi Brock , I run across your Channel and really enjoy watching you do different things for your farm ! Keep up the good work !
  • Thanks for making this video! It is full of great information! I would love to get a sawmill one day. Donald

When you are making your stickers why are you unstacking each cut? You could have made all your cuts left them in place thrown a couple ratchet straps around your stack used your cant hook to rotate the stack and make all your cuts again the whole idea is to work smarter and handle each piece as few times as possible
  • I use a laser on both of my mills ( DeWalt) . For the set up. Nathan should have done a better job selling you a Woodmizer 🧡😅lol I enjoy your videos buddy!

Do you have to adjust the blades each time you put a new blade on ?.We have a “Hardwood mill “ which looks very similar to yours, and we found that we have to most times re-Aline the blade on the flywheel ? Maybe different tensions in each blade? We are using Woodmizer tungsten and cutting extremely hard wood, Wandoo , in Western Australia…..
