when i was 12 i made a promise that if i made it through the school year i would watch this video (think of it as a milestone) it was the final day of 6th grade. i came home, put my backpack in my closet and immediately watched this. gravity falls is what got me through it. i had no will to live, very few friends. summer was when i could finally be happy. this video gave me peace, it gave me the feeling of "i made it" being a college student now it gives me such nostalgia, i was a sad middle school kid who wanted to die. but if i did i wouldnt be writing this. this is honestly surreal. he would be proud of me that i made it. to anyone else who is reading this. i believe in you, you will get past this. if youve read this far, thank you so much.

This brings back emotions that I wanted to bury for so long. I had a childhood friend that meant everything to me. She and I were inseparable, and we promised to stay great friends no matter what. One day though, she moved to another city and I couldn't follow her there. We kept in touch for a while, but she stopped responding to my texts for a bit. I was concerned, so I called her parents and what I found out was heartbreaking. She had been diagnosed with cancer and she died before I could ever reach out to her again. It was heartbreaking. But it got worse. Her parents gave me a letter she wrote a little after learning she would die. It spoke about all the fun times we had, how she really felt about me, and that she was going to miss it all. She wanted me to promise to never forget her and to live happily forever. Sadly I haven't found another relationship like I had with her. It's hard to find one because I'm scared of losing them as well. But I know she wants me to find someone so I can smile like I did back then. Even so, I really miss her.

These two are one of THE BEST brothers and sisters I've ever seen. Their bond is unbreakable, and together they can do anything. I'm so thankful that I and many others got to experience these two and their adventures. They're so well loved that this beautiful animation was made, and is still popular to this day. ❤
