Having grown up in America it's impossible for me to suspend my disbelief long enough to buy into a mid-19th century black sheriff walking around the prairie lands with a Winchester rifle or Colt pistol. He would have been dead 5000 times over per minute. Imagine if you will that Denzell Washington played the lead in a biopic of Michael Collins' life (famous Irish politician/soldier). You'd say in your best Irish accent "This is fookin' bullshit! Arrrgh!" What's next, the Lady Di story starring Beyonce?
