I've been casually working on AI to call scammers over the past few years. Recently I tried using ChatGPT to call scammers and it was hilarious.

I love this so much lol. Hopefully you enjoyed the video too. We're working on an even better version of this so stay tuned :)

The fact that the scammers kept staying on a phone despite the pigeon, wizard, glittering realms, caffeinated woodland creatures etc. just amazed me

Deep reassuring voice, consistent tone, subconscious commands, pattern interrupts. This AI is very close to actually practicing hypnosis on someone.

I'm gonna have to step in and say Arthur gave 10 out of 10 magical stars. You could not beat such level of customer service. He didn't get angry, he never raised his voice, he gave clear and concise instructions and you could hear him smile through the phone. You you need to double or triple whatever you pay him.

"Do you happen to have the phone number of a reliable wizard?" There is not a crazier sentence ever said during a scambait.

Pretty hilarious seeing Kitboga as the spectator unable to change the direction of what the bot is doing, and yet the bot is absolutely cooking the whole time
  • This video doesn't do justice to how unprepared Kit was for this silliness during the stream- he did not expect Arthur to do this at all. It was completely out of left field. Absolute gold.
  • I thought it was peak trolling when Arthur started speaking in tongues. I think the AI made a smooth escalation all the way from twinkle, twinkle to a stroke of celestial genius in scammer trolling heaven.

"Let's try a telepathic transfer" had me in stitches the entire rest of the video.

I am absolutely amazed on how Arthur managed to keep scammer on the line despite first thing he suggested being literally taking a random pigeon, strapping a USB drive on it and sending it off to wild

I am 66 years old. I was 22 when the movie Airplane! came out in theaters. I remember laughing constantly during the course of the entire movie, literally with tears coming out. I have not laughed harder that that movie...until this sequence with the BTC chat bot. 20 minutes of the same, sustained laughter, real laughter with tears. Congratulations, Kit!

I expected Kitboga to step in with something like "Hey, I'm sorry. Our AI support system went off the rails there. Let me..." But instead he went along with it as if Arthur just didn't give the "magical" instructions quite right. I was impressed.

You created an AI that knows how to troll people. Absolutely brilliant. 10/10

Imagine 100 of these, cold calling scammers 24/7. What an absolute legacy for Kit's grandmother.

We use AI to beat scammers, scammers use AI to work around it, Skynet never evolves because it's too busy trying to not get scammed by it's own self.
  • @kentishkitty
I love how the scammer manages to stay on the phone despite Arthur’s insanely nonsensical and absurd replies
  • @darkin1484
When the scammers scammed Kitboga's grandma they unintentionally spawned their worst enemy ever. Thats a real superhero backstory right there.

I’m definitely gonna use “how about we try finding a unicorn and making a wish” the next time I get into a dispute with a customer about a company policy
  • @Bisqwit
I will say this experiment was a blazing success. I have never laughed so much while watching a Kitboga video, and you managed to keep the scammer on line for so long. The speech synthesizer was perfect for the purposes, too: Dramatic pause. A perfect blend of patronizing, but friendly.
