The 15 pro max is my first exposure to IOS and I gotta say, Iβll probably never go back to android. It just works for me and flawlessly I might add. Going on 6 months now and not a single issue.

Coming from a Z fold 4 where the inner screen blacked out after a year my blue Titanium PM has been a great investment.like u said these devices are all about communication first.Everything else is secondary.Now Iβm Not switching over and bashing Samsung/Android but Apple with FaceTime and ecosystem are way above Android right now.I have AW 2 and 2nd generation AirPods Pro 2.They seamlessly integrates easy.Both both ecosystems have their pros and cons though

The only reason we complain about the iPhone not having features is the toot their horn so loud when they finally do adopt a new feature that has always been available somewhere on Android.

Things I hate the most about iOS, the keyboard is absolute trash, no clipboard access, file management is trash, reachability (will be fixed in IOS 18, yay) no ability to schedule a text message, I often do this on Android phones, no ability to change settings in the camera app is ridiculous, no ability to pause video in the camera ( how hard is to implement this feature)
