I was expecting a classic British-American propaganda about French history like we see it everywhere, but I was very pleasantly surprised that it wasn't. It's a very good job!

A toast to our dearest and greatest heroes of Europe. The first official Democracy, to victor of the Great War, to the heroic exiled government of Free France, to liberators of Paris, and finally, a true bastion of Democracy and Equality. Thank you to all Frenchmen who valiantly worked hard throughout all those years. Vive La France!!
