There's dozens of finesse techniques and thousands of finesse baits...in my opinion these are the only 5 you need to catch EVERY finicky bass. A lot of the year I have the luxury to lean on my power fishing techniques to catch bigger/more aggressive bass, but you truly aren't well-rounded if you don't add these techniques to your repertoire. My best advice is to spend a few days taking ONLY these 5 techniques to the lake to learn them!

Underwater footage helps me understand the action of the plastics, to help optimize the effectiveness of it. Thanks 👍

As a new angler I think it would be helpful if you throw some pool furniture in there to replicate structure so we can see how we are supposed to fish around that stuff.

I’ve been bass fishing my whole life and this was probably the most beneficial video I’ve ever watched. Thank you

Love the underwater footage. We need more of these!!!! As a newer angler this helped me tremendously

Would love to see more vids like this! I'm kinda new to using jigs and such. I normally catfish and just use a bobber for everything else. So to see how the baits are used and stuff really helps me out!
  • Having fished multiple s in different sizes and colors, youtube.com/post/UgkxCbNOWAGmn6nfbCbJDmasvBq7J38KZ… this is by far my favorite. One thing to be aware of is the sided willow blade. One side is silver and the other is the green/orange shown. This is not bad, just unconventional. In terms of fishing, I have found the lure works just fine without a tail like a craw or shad. That addition is up to you. Also, the hook part where you attach the swivel snap or tie the line is a problem on baits these days, since it's able to slide up and down. However this lure seems to be tight enough that that doesn't happen often, and you can solve it by putting a thin slice of medical tube over the hook before attaching the line. Like others have said, it's really magic on a good windy day.

Love the underwater footage and the instruction is really spot on.

Definitely down for more of these! This was really cool as someone who is just recently getting back into bass fishing to have this kind of a reference on not just how to rig the baits but how they move as well
  • Definitely wanna see more of these teaching vids !!!! Entertainment is one reason I watch but mostly I’m watching these vids to try and learn something I can apply on the water! Great job Ben! Brian in SC
  • Love underwater videos, you can learn so much more about your bait movements. Thanks Ben and Cole.
  • Great video Ben. I can't believe how much I have learned from your videos. I have been fishing for over 50 years. Pretty much old school stuff. Your techniques have gotten me not just more fish but better fish.
  • @trevorcoons3156
Excited to see more informational videos! This is great stuff I didn’t know I needed to know!
  • You put out the most informative vids. I’ve been fishing for 20 years and I learn something new every video I watch of yours.
  • @jessemartin1474
Love learning new techniques and presentations that work for bank fishing especially!

Great content! More videos like this please! Showing the underwater action and showing the rod action/retrieve really helps me to learn new techniques and really grasp the concept. Instead of the typical "rig this bait this way and retrieve it like this" type video which are good but this really shows and explains why these work. Would love to see videos like this with pretty much any different rigs/lures IMO. Personally I'd like to see a video like this in the pool with different swimbait rigs and how to work them.

Ben figured out he could write his pool off as a business expense hahaha “tell me what baits you want to see underwater”
  • @zachbrannon189
Great video! Thank you for helping novices get a better understanding of how to use setups with efficiency. You’ve done well, Sir
  • Well done Ben! Great video Coleslaw! Definitely worth the watch, and very informative. Thanks!
  • @joyadams6885
Yes, I would love to see more these type of videos!!! I learned so much from this video.
  • @jameswalker5579
Awesome. Very informative. I've never been very good at worm fishing, but watching you and Slaw rippin' and paying closer attention to your technique, I am gaining more confidence. I tried a drop shot for the first time, yesterday, in some fairly unfavorable conditions, and caught fish. Y'all keep up the good work. This type of video is greatly appreciated.
