Aussie here, if the white froth is over 6 feet / 1 1/2 metres do not go in the water. If it’s clear water go through the middle if it has peaked and if it a before breaker swim up to go up with the wave. Know the waves on the beach and stay between the flags.

Love the erosion. Everywhere I go that has beaches I know, those beaches have shrunk over the past 20 years. While change on the shore is continuous, the sands used to shift around; one place would lose sand, another would gain that sand. But as the sand disappears under the waves, that no longer happens

Looks like days are numbered for lotta those homes. Bet when they built they never dreamed they'd have ocean back yards (feel kinda bad for them).

Not everyone knows where North Shore beach is, and after an internet search I see there are multiple beaches by that name. Would it really have killed the uploader to have included some details in the description?
