Marriage is a partnership and both people have to share in what ever is needed and agreeing to be each other’s back, it doesn’t matter what it is and always put God first then everything will always work out.💯💯

Love the way one compensates for the other from listening to working. Just wonderful and eye opening to remind us how we should be with our significant other.

Perhaps submitting mean pleasing. Its pleasurable to please the one you love. Submitting can be compromising and yielding to a way that may or may not be as comfortable but the outcome can still be good. But I agree with submitting to each other because if it’s one way then someone will feel cheated or like they are always getting the short end of the stick. But I think when two people are committed as friends and partners the submission to each other is easier

I am glad you explained submission of both husband and wife as an equal thing.. My late-husband believed in the old way of submission and my boyfriend he also believes that way.. The husband is told to love his wife as Christ loved the church, so in reality, I see his role as tougher than submission... in all honesty that in itself is a form of submission as well. SN: I like the traditional roles😊 but I'm flexible when necessary.
