I don't think gerrard gets enough credit for his voice his chest belts are pretty high. Most people end up mixing above the A4

Saw MCR live in March.. and they did not disappoint. Amazing.

In highschool we played Teenagers for a live show (i played drums so i didnt know the vocal technicalities) and i remember needing a specific female vocalist bc no one else could have their voice meet the needed register consistently

I'M SO GLAD Famous Last Words got the top spot, it's my favorite song of ALL TIME and everything about it is amazing and perfect.

Also, as an OG 2001 MCR fan I noticed he only focused on TBP which had a very distinct singing style for Gerard. Each album, because they tell a story, has a different approach to the vocals. Which is why also the first two albums sound more similar. Revenge was a quasi sequel to Bullets.

I can sing this songs, but it is a little bit hard to do like you said, but it sucks that he doesn't get enough of love for his voice. He's my favorite singer and my chemical romance is my favorite band of all time

i was at the MCRTACOMA show, and it was literally the best night ever. gerard's voice was and is so much healthier than in all the old footage too!

I agree his range is great but I feel like the video focuses a little too much on pitch when he has great screams and other techniques which really make him stand out
