I visited Goodwill in Hanover, PA. After having decent luck the last time, I went straight for the purses and lucked out again.

The "stand" that was in the Tupperware cake carrier is actually for pies. They are stackable with the legs fitting into the one below and easily protect your pies during transportation. I used to be the pie maker for family holidays and I have about 10 of them. Just stack them up, place an empty one on top and all pies are safe and secure.

The little garden statue would have looked cute by your fish pond.
  • Saddle soap will clean that handbag nicely. I've used it on leather goods for many years.
  • I think we all need to stop and think about what is in our carts, before we check out! Good advice…hope you enjoyed your milkshake 😊
  • Jocelyn, Thank you! I found a glassy baby at my local Goodwill. It’s Celebration pre-Triskelion. Not vintage, but still cool. It was priced at .99 but I got it for .74 because of a senior discount. 😂
  • As you probably know, the owl picture is "Dad and Little Henry" from Home Interiors, circa 1970.

Found a Disney loungefly backpack for $6.49, sold it for $185.
  • Hi, Instead or redonating things that you choose not to list, you should have biannual parking lot sales. Let Ashton and Juliette help with it and let them keep the money in savings account for school. It will get them involved, teach them about selling and the exchange of funds and at least you can get some return on items you previously bought. You will be surprised how many items people will buy for a dollar or two for use in DIYs crafting. Just a thought.

Hi, your enamel bowl from this episode: I received it as a baby gift in 1999. It came with a cute hooded infant bath towel (hood had a duck beak), yellow rubber duckies, & baby bath soap products. I use the enamel dish in my garden (with stones & branches) as a finch Bird bath. Love your show! Lina in Montana
  • I'm from Williamsburg and seeing you find Williamsburg pottery every now and then is amusing. Years ago, a visitor to Colonial Williamsburg could watch a master potter make those pieces. Fast forward to now, and given budget cuts, changes in management, and the Master Craftsmen retiring most of the Williamsburg souvenirs are made in China. Really sad to compare merchandise and see the quality deteriorate so much.
  • I agree about the tusks. Poachers don’t even leave figurine elephants alone 😠. I always find them missing also.
  • The Wearever Hallite Aluminum with the looped handles are sought after, they came in all colors, usually with contrasting handles, blue, gold, rose-gold, copper, silver they were from the 1950s, 60s.

Hi Jocelyn... Coldwater Creek is a high end store - they sell all kinds of clothes, jewelry, shoes, purses etc.. at a very high price range. Michelle
  • Hi Josylyn, yes I had that exact same Tupperware cake container and they are built to last.. I had mine for 30 years. Great Score 👌😅👍👍🙏🙏
  • The Tupperware cake carrier has a pie carrier inside. One pie goes on the cake carrier and another pie can go on the top of the rack. The legs keep the pies from mashing each other!

I think it’s a great idea to pause at the end. I call it weeding 😊. I do it all of the time while thrifting. I always ask myself: “if I were forced to leave with only one item what would it be?” And then I start weeding from there. 😃

I loved the crochet cat and bunnies in the basket! That’s called a “Amineko” cat. It’s from a Japanese crochet pattern. It was crocheted separately and attached with a few bits of yarn..you could have easily removed it without damaging it if you wanted to. I insist you run back to that very goodwill and buy that wonderful crochet delight. 😂😊 I crochet so i can really appreciate the hours that went into that Amigurumi goodness. ❤
  • I like the idea you have of stopping and evaluating what’s in your cart before you leave. Thank you for being such a wonderful teacher

You got great stuff! I wish you’d got the outside statue of the little girl with the bunnies…for in your garden. It was so sweet.🙏🏻
