I'm a Manchester United fan have been since 1984 and we played some brilliant stuff under fergie but the football Liverpool played in 87/88 is some of the best I've ever seen.

Amazing how certain televised games stick with you. Liverpool were immense back then....too good in fact! As a Newcastle supporter I had seen us beat Swindon 5-0 the previous day to get through to the 5th Rnd. That was my first ever game as a 9 year old.

Awesome. As a 14-year old in 1988, these are epic memories. Wasn't a fan of this theme tune they borrowed from their World Cup coverage though. I love the theme tune to 'The Match' a lot better. Great uploads!

I'm a stoke guy. Went Villa in 1988. When they went up but we won 1.0. That day. Amazing ground and day. This is how I remember it. The villa end when they use to stand up looked massive. I remember watching π this game on tv πΊ with my dad and uncles!

Yea I had this white one and the grey crown paints / candy shirts but couldn't remember this game yet I went to the semi v forest and the final. How strange. Got my tik for villa on Sunday :)

Wow I remember this game as it caused a bit of fuss with me Sunday league under 14s.... He was banning me cos I was captain n best player.. I didnt go in the but nothing to do with footy manager.. Following Liverpool home n away came before everything else from 10yo. LFC THE MIGHTY REDS .
