  • As a German I’d like to remind everyone of the fact that „warehouses for a certain group of people to perish in“ don’t have an amazing history of being bought by Amazon. They also don’t tend to turn into malls.
  • I swear each week I’m like “how can this get worse?” Then I hear a cop propose the idea of literal concentration camps and I’m proved wrong again.

"America is not a racist country" "There is no war in Ba Sing Se"
  • You can actually hear the genuine frustration in John's voice throughout this entire piece, and rightfully so.
  • @attilatiti9542
John Oliver is getting steadily more and more angry each episode
  • Hilarious how terrified the person sounds when she says "We'll be one step closer to government-run healthcare!"
  • @leboiofbois1005
What the hell happened to t his country that allows a sheriff to casually advocate for concentration camps and still keep their jobs
  • @mightypensword
that sheriff was actually talking about putting black people in boxes to prevent them from having children. wow
  • Everyone just overlooking the fact that the sheriff of Kenosha literally ADVOCATED FOR EUGENICS
  • @Gravecoyote
Im surprised the Kenosha sheriff didn't call his solution "The Final Solution". 🙄
  • @Prawduk730
Conservatives: “protest curfew good” Also Conservatives: “covid curfew bad”

  • @quirkyblackenby
The fact that a cop said that confidently in public says everything you need to know about the institution of the police.
  • @fish4716
"The best is yet to come" is a weird thing to say after having held office for 4 years.
  • @beaudwayful
That Kenosha Sheriff really seems to be looking for a "final solution"
  • That sheriff does Sound Like 1940s Germany, as a German I can say that. The difference is, in 2020 Germany he would not be in Law Enforcement, but facing trial.
  • @DanielVerberne
This is the first episode in this wonderful show's life where I've seen John angry to the point of having to stop filming. This is one of the most powerful episodes of non-fiction TV I've ever seen. If only it were watched by all sides of politics.

10:15 - So the people who got shot were breaking curfew, but the 17 year old doing the shooting was not violating curfew?
