Alternate video title: Man struggles with the basics of playing a survival game.

Alternate title: Noob shits on a game he knows nothing about.

hitting the zombies with fists, a torch, and a stone axe i can see how someone that is inept might not have a good time playing this i have to assume this is click bait
-
just wait till this guy hears about minecraft
-
My favourite part is where you completely ignored the very short Tutorial and made your "Fortress" out of Wafers.
-
Close to 2000 hours and Ill say this. This game is the BEST zombie game/survival game of all time! Replayability is infinite both in vanilla or with mods.
-
You are right about one thing... you are "just a simple YouTuber."
-
It's not a story game, which is refreshing sometimes. How much story do you need here? It's the Zombie Apocalypse. The story is what happens to you in the gameworld. The whole premise of the game - recurring and escalating Zombie Hordes - is all the explanation and motivation you need to explore and loot. My favorite way to play is Permadeath, and just see how far I can get. It's a unique situation each time, especially when using Random Worlds. Tons of fun Solo or with Friends. I have 650 hours. Highly recommend. One tip: you don't have to build a whole base, it's a lot of fun to repurpose the POI's for bases. That gives you better immersion, and gives you more time in the early-game for finding resources.

13:49 You dont have to build wood blocks and upgrade each and every one, you can just make cobblestone blocks in the first place
-
You only played the basic tutorial. The game gets absolutely insane as time goes on. One of my top 3 favorite games ever to exist. I got all my friends into it too. You never really gave it a chance..

Hi! not sure if you actually tried to learn the game before you started or are just doing click bait. I have over 7000 hours in this game playing the vanilla and modded versions. You can make this game very easy or extremely difficult. It takes time to understand the zombie AI which has been tweaked many times over. From my perspective of this video you had no clue of what you were doing so for you to critique a game that you have no understanding is unfair to the developers and all people that play this game.

7 Days to Die is fucking Amazing, end of story.
-
My headcanon for the clunky zombie movement is Rigor Mortis. Imagine trynna move on stiff limbs like that.
-
This is probably my favorite survival game and I love how it has changed so much throughout the years. I would love to see another video on it but idk if it will ever be released to be honest. The devs seem to have an issue with feature creep.
-
absolutely love this game,, there is so many different ways to play it,, mess around with settings and creating a random generated world.. just love this game.. have many, many, many hours into it. you have base building, horde base building, cooking, crafting jobs, towns to raid, mining, farming, everything and anything is destructible, different biomes with each one has their own difficulty,, not sure what you are missing but man this game is far far far from being the worst
-
11:51 "thats the most disproportioned ratio in crafting i have ever seen" Ohh oooh..... he doesnt know whats waiting for him :D
-
3000 or so hours into this game. First few days of game-time are now quite brutal - and that makes it fun. Given the 1000's of mods available from tweaks to full overhauls you can make it as hard or difficult or "quality of life" as you like.

So, your comments from this video, tell me you don't pay attention. Did you not notice that flashing pen every time you went into your inventory? This is the "journal," which gives you the extra info you need for each aspect and mechanic. Do you need your hand held all the way through a survival game in the form of a "mini tutorial" every time a new mechanic comes into play? Also, you do get notifications when you level up and recieve skill points, it's just not a great big thing across your screen.
-
7:44 you weren't paying attention. Large white text in the middle of the screen tells you that you leveled and how many points to spend you have, but if it happens during combat you tend to miss it.

Not played this game in a while. But it is prob one of the best survival games out there. in terms of content in my opinion and there is some great mods to. But can for sure become tedius to play on days where your patience is not at a peak.
