IMO the lack of variety is whats getting you. having all those fire towers is not good when enemies that are resistant to fire overrun you. archers do low damage but fire fast. you can get 4 shots in the time it takes for one fire tower to shoot. by the time your fire tower shoots one guy, he is already out of range. the closer you keep your towers to the castle the better. if everything is clustered in the middle it will take damage from many sources by the time it makes it there
