There is a big difference between " being among the sinners" and " accepting the sin" Jesus always no matter the sin loved everyone and spoke to people from prostitutes, to thief's. HOWEVER, he didnt condone the acts. He would always say " go and sin no more" He DIDNT SAY " Go and sin more as you have my blessing because i am opened minded"

So is he saying tear down the walls around the Vatican
  • Jesus said, "If the world hates you, remember that it hated me first. If you belonged to the world, it would love you as its own. As it is, you do not belong to the world, but I have chosen you out of the world. That is why the world hates you." And many of the early followers of The Way died horrific deaths at the hands of the world: Mauled to death by lions, burned at the stake, beheaded, crucified, etc. If those following worldly desires don't hate you and yet you claim to be a follower of Christ, then you are probably doing something wrong.
  • Pope Francis is absolutely correct. To create divisions among people is not to be a real Christian. 🙏✝ïļ

I mean, the entire point of Christianity is to divide the wicked from the righteous in a situation where God gathers a people from among the wicked and supernaturally elects them to righteousness, so that none may boast. History is the tale of God's gradual but final and decisive victory over evil. In any victory, there are real winners and losers -- the winners will be the humility and weakness of righteousness (through the cross of Christ) over the worldly power and riches of wickedness. Do not be deceived.

Matthew 10:34-39 “Do not think that I came to bring peace on earth. I did not come to bring peace but a sword. 35 For I have come to ‘set[j] a man against his father, a daughter against her mother, and a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law’; 36 and ‘a man’s enemies will be those of his own household.’ 37 He who loves father or mother more than Me is not worthy of Me. And he who loves son or daughter more than Me is not worthy of Me. 38 And he who does not take his cross and follow after Me is not worthy of Me. 39 He who finds his life will lose it, and he who loses his life for My sake will find it.

Religion and spirituality are earth bound or spirit bound. We do not know what we do. All things are possible but not all things are good for us. Wisdom often is not in a quote from anywhere. It is being in context and action in effort to find in the walk what is better. Words doesn’t tell the truth alone. It requires a cognitive and action to make them alive.

Well maybe if he didn’t teach separation consciousness, fear & hatred, you wouldn’t be divided. Ya think?

Conservativeness is what gives us an identity. We are sheep and not wolves. If sheep begin to eat flesh other than grass, as a shepherd i would be worried that a wolf in a sheep cloth is among us.

Holy father Pope Francis Lord bless you. Our Lord Jesus Christ is eternal God and Christianity is the eternal faith. It is the faith that transforms lives in the image of God with respect to times and traditions.
  • @DDd-gm8uz
Can't divide the whole world yet the Catholic Church's real estate would suggest otherwise. How as well the hospital beds you divide?
  • @michellea9857
What is a conservative bishop? Why apply political terms to a shepherd of Jesus’ people? Either you love Jesus or you don’t.
  • @lapassion24
Dont gather what is on the ground and throw it in people face just because they simply can’t see your view, I said this towards those who knows the lives of struggles and difficulties, from the ground up, from the social circles from their own sweats and tears to the table, because when they see those who couldn’t understand them just because they were never raised like them), they would automatically judge them the outsiders or those who don’t look like them. To me what you able to see, what you able to have are from God, but don’t use that to judge people . Who is more blind here?
  • @DanielFaith1000
Hope the Pope has prosperous health, sanctified mind, equanimity of compassionate love. Love and respect all shepherds as is appropriate.
  • Blessed are the peacemakers. Make haste slowly. Keep these 2 sayings in mind when you think about Francis. Also, read the book, “Pope Francis Among the Wolves “, by Marco Politi. It explains the power struggles within the Vatican he’s faced. Francis wants a more humane, compassionate approach to applying church teachings in people’s lives. Note his remarks on surrogate motherhood. He’s against exploiting poor women’s wombs for profit, but says each case must be judged individually. Thus he likely would not condemn a sister who freely bore a child for her cancer survivor sibling. Francis irks liberals because he doesn’t change the rules on hot button issues like female priests by papal fiat. He knows better . Such abrupt changes can be reversed by the next right wing pope. Francis is sidelining his most virulent opponents and replacing them with cardinals and bishops who think like he does. He’s also working hard to change Church governance from a top down, Rome centered structure, to one in which regional bodies, and lay people have more say. He’s laying the groundwork for the election of a new pope who will continue his reforms. Francis is resurrecting Vatican 2, the brainchild of Pope John the 23rd. However, Pope John died before he could complete his reforms. His successors quashed Vatican 2. This led directly to the sorry state in which the Church now finds itself.
