Husavik is a town on the Iceland ring road known for being a hub for whale watching. Husavik has an assuming air, that of a special place with hidden gems, if only you care to look a bit closer. Our whale watching experience in Husavik was interesting enough, though we visited in spring. Right off Iceland's Ring road, it is easy to access and a great way to experience the region's whaling history and its evolution into modern day whale tourism. It's typical fishing town charm is bolstered with some cute little eateries, local hot pools and nature hikes in the vicinity.

    I know u guys were inspired by Ronnie and Barty vlogs, Ronnie being a professional movie maker ( he has worked in movies like Neerja) delivers quality editing and cinematography, whereas you engineers being completely new to this industry have surprisingly made gr8 vlogs. I am binge watching your channel.

    Definitely Husavik is one of the most scenic place in Iceland. Its actually not on a ring road but its worth visiting especially during summer(we just came back from Iceland). Luckily we were able to watch 3-4 whales and also visited Öxarfjörður beach point where we observed many puffins it was mesmerizing to see so many colonies of puffins and other birds. I think hwy 85 is most scenic route with many glacier mountains, cliffs and blue water. From Dettifoss(862) we took 85 to Husavik.
