Hello everyone! Today's video is an exciting one where I go over how my 2015 Dodge Charger Scat Pack has held up now that I have reached 170,000 miles! I purchased the car brand new back in 2015 and the car is my daily driver. In this video I discuss how reliable the car has been to me! Post any questions you have below in the comment section and I will do my best to answer all of them!

Making it to 170K with a Scat pack without it being crashed or stolen is an accomplishment in and of itself lol. Good job man.
  • We have two 392 Chargers for almost 2 years now with no issues. We are very grateful and blessed to have them in our life. Plus, me and the wife have so much fun racing each other and just daily driving them. Great video review and hopefully our last like yours did!!!!

Awesome video & congrats! šŸ‘šŸ½ currently at 137k miles on my 2015 scatpack 6.4. No issues to report what so ever, has been a phenomenal A to B car averaging 20.8mpg.
  • Wow bro, I thought I had the most mileage on a 2015 scat pack. Iā€™m at 157k in b5 blue, honestly Iā€™ve never had one issue. Iā€™ve recently replaced the brake pads and batteryā€¦thatā€™s it. These cars are beasts and will hold up for 300k miles if everyone would just take care of them. Great video sir, hopefully you can get her to 200k and beyond.

Nice to see you are enjoying your car and using it for its intended purpose. Too many people buy performance cars and either beat the crap out of them and pass them off to the next sucker or hide them away and never drive them. And too many people are scared of miles. Cars are machines they are meant to be driven
  • I absolutely loved this video. Finally someone with an honest view. I'm almost to 30k miles and I love this badass car.

Thanks again Johnny, been watching you Scat vids since '16.
I have a 2017 Charger SRT with 22K miles. Bought it new and still in love with it but I will sell it. The car is pristine in every way. Billet Silver...fully loaded with every option possible...Harman, sunroof, red belts, etc. I have had to replace the water pump and NAV unit under warranty. 2nd set of Pirelli's and PowerStop pads. Also...full bumper/hood wrapped with XPEL. Never raced, never used launch control, never fried the tires...just sporty everyday driven. I've changed the Pennzoil every 2K miles. I will sell it for $60K. Yes...above bluebook but it looks and runs absolutely like new. This is the last of the SRT's and those 3 letters make all the difference. I'm in SoCal...respond if interested.
  • I'm new to the Dodge family w/ only 7,500 miles in on my 21' Scatty, so roughly 162,000 to go to catch up, brother. Great vidšŸ˜Œ

Proud to see it. Maintenance is mega important. As long we keep that up, these things will go go go. Iā€™m at 132,500 on my 2016 Scat Shaker Challenger. Iā€™m on original motor and trans as well. I still take mine to the track and race. Granted I have a lot of aftermarket parts, headers, tune, etc. But, these things hold up even with mods. I never miss oil changes and I keep close attention to anything that may seem off. These things will last if you take care of it. You canā€™t avoid cosmetic damage or wear though sadly as you showed. My driverā€™s seat also has some wear. I think imo, it just all comes down to how people want to treat their car. It definitely is more expensive to maintain than a normal grocery getter. And itā€™s okay to not be perfect.

I was always seeing hate comments about these chargers that they don't even last 100k miles, I'm glad you proved them wrong
  • Fantastic review! I just hit 90k on my 5.7 Challenger. Love these cars and they are one of the last modern day model cars that harken back to the ā€œGolden Earā€ of muscle cars.

As a 2018 Scat Pack charger owner I agree with you, is a performance car and things need to be taken care so it can be reliable for longer time, that is why when they say we recommend X and Y part is cuz it needs to be taken care for longevity of that part of the car that is being serviced

Also regardless of brand all of them need to be taken care in all their moving parts as time passes so they can hold up for a long time
  • I had a base 2017 Charger. Put about 65k miles on it in 2 years. Other than some interior panel peeling issues the car held up great.

i have 198,000 thousands miles on my 2015 RT Charger never had any issues with my motor or trans.
  • @natesmith777
I appreciate you being upfront and candid about the car. Great video! šŸ‘šŸ½

Great video. You gave me some assurance on my 2021 Scat Challenger. Got it from the factory, sheā€™s my daily driver and I drive a lot. So far have 45,000 miles. It gets all of the scheduled maintenance like clock work. Thanks for making me feel like Iā€™m not killing her. You have a new subscriber.

Like the video. I personally have 2016 with 120k. Normal maintenance some control arm bushings waterpump driveshaft and motor mounts. No abusing

I have been getting more and more anxious finding myself looking to want to buy one, a scat pack, I seem to like them more and more every time I look at them lol
  • @jimmakk6292
MOST definitely is not cheating making SURE that the vehicle you are looking to buy is going to come with a good warranty, I mean for the price of vehicles nowadays why wouldn't you
