The war in Yemen has created one of the worst humanitarian crises in the world, and it’s been made worse by outside actors. Countries using the war in Yemen as a proxy to increase their own power and influence, but with a massive human cost.

Editing feels much more focused like the older vids. Very nice!
-
Finally Yemen, nobody talks about what is happening there!
-
As a Yemeni, I gotta say that this is one the best narrations of events of the war in Yemen. Thanks Johnny for making this video to inform people around the world about what is going on in my home.
-
You forgot to mention that +300k got killed since the beginning of the conflict.
-
Man, as a Yemeni I have been waiting too long for this, happy to see someone explaining what's going on in here, it's complicated to understand even for Yemenies ourselves
-
Im really glad the editing of this video was done in the old style. It's more respectful and doesnt distract from the actual topic. The gravity of these conflicts does not mix well with fast cuts and interlaced clips of you doing the actual research. Thank you!
-
Thank you johnny, i have been waiting for years for this episode. Thanks from Yemen.

Gorgeous presentation with beautiful storytelling. The map and other indicators (connecting lines, dots and legends) provide so much context to the whole conflict. I absolutely love watching your videos as I am very much interested in geo-political issues and I can say nobody explains such issues better than you. Your honest, objective and truthful journalistic approach helps to view the story from all sides without any confirmation bias. I really appreciate this. Please keep up the good and productive work. Love from Bangladesh 🇧🇩 !
-
I'm yemeni and I'm amazed by how accurate your information is , regarding our conflict 👍🏻
-
I'm from Yemen originally. I just want a united democratic Yemen, that allows everybody to live in peace. Peace, Love and prosperity.
-
Thank you for explaining all this. Being informed helps to make a difference.
-
As a Yemeni, I will say this even if it goes against your narrative. Every country has the right to get rid of foreign powers from controlling their land. We don’t hate anyone even Americans, but we hate their government politics in the world from Haiti to Palestine to Congo.
-
Great video Johnny, the crisis in Yemen does not get much media coverage in recent times and it's nice to see you making a video to remind and educate people on this subject
-
here from Yemen, thank you for making this video ❤️
-
Oh yeman is a good people 😢 and beautiful🇸🇴❤️ 🇾🇪
-
Thank you very much for informing us on what is going on, you’re in my top three youtube channels to watch on youtube, i stop whatever im doing and begin your latest video every time its uploaded. This is a incredibly captivating video as always
-
That’s what I’m talking about. This is one of those good old Johnny Harris geopolitical vids. Please do more of these.
-
always excited when I see Johnny posts again

THANK YOU for including a year-by-year timeline on top, I've been wanting this to become a thing for a long time now. Very helpful.
