Everyone talking about Scott's Witch Circle needs to remember that hes Scottish and that kind of thing is normal up here. My primary school was built next to the spot where they used to burn witches. The nearest city to me is Stirling, and they have a dungeon in their mall right next to the markies. We used to have an assembly once a year to read Tam O'Shanter (a poem about a man who interrupts a ghost party and then they hunt him) from the ages of 4 through to 11. Scotland is just like that
