I think that's her real voice but she amps up the nerdiness alot for the act. holy crap she's so talented and she can SING amazingly well.

I love MV. She’s a joy to watch when it lands. This must be shortly after her AGT days, and perhaps one of the nights that she speaks of when she’s in a bad mood after a not so good performance. She’s a terrific impressionist and a great performer when the writing aligns with her strengths. Even on SNL there are hits and misses. But I believe she needs a writer or a team that really knows her zone.
