The brown noise in this video features a profound boost from 0 to 160 Hz, enriching the lower frequencies for a deep sonic experience. It smoothly transitions to baseline at 230 Hz, remains flat at 10 kHz, and then significantly reduces higher frequencies up to 24 kHz, creating a tranquil, soothing soundscape. Brown noise can help you relax and get some sleep, and may alleviate the effects of tinnitus. Enjoy, and rest well.

Fun fact: brown noise is often called Brownian noise because it is named after Scottish botanist Robert Brown, not the color brown. It can also be called red noise.

⚠ 𝗗𝗜𝗗 𝗔𝗡 𝗔𝗗 𝗣𝗟𝗔𝗬 𝗜𝗡 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗠𝗜𝗗𝗗𝗟𝗘 𝗢𝗙 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗩𝗜𝗗𝗘𝗢? If so, I'm sorry that happened. I know it's awful to be startled by a mid-roll ad. I have them disabled on all of my content, but YouTube has a confirmed bug that causes them to play for some viewers anyway. It's not just my channel – this has been a problem across the entire platform since at least mid-2022. YouTube's engineers know about the bug and what causes it to happen, but unfortunately, they have not provided any information about when (or if) they will fix it. The bug tends to manifest as a 30-second mid-roll ad played around the 6-hour mark, and it disproportionately affects iPhone and iPad users. I have been investigating this for a very long time, and I go into more detail about my findings here: https://youtu.be/ndeUVgZMh1Y If you are affected by the bug but still want to access my content, I recommend that you view this video's description and try one of the alternatives I have provided, such as Spotify or Rumble. If you want to stay on YouTube, you'll find that I have live stream versions of my most popular content, and they tend to be safe from the bug – but not always. The only guaranteed way to never get ads on YouTube is to subscribe to YouTube Premium, which I understand is not an option for everyone. As it turns out, the reason I do not need to play ads is because my channel makes the vast majority of its revenue from YouTube Premium. You are welcome to reply to this comment with information about what happened to you. Historically, it has been helpful for me to know what type of device you are on, which app or browser you use, the approximate timestamp of when the ad played, and what company/product/service the ad was for. I appreciate your patience and understanding in this matter, and I'm

I love that you just use a black screen with these. I know it's mostly for people who are trying to sleep, but most other videos like this all have some colorful video playing the whole time and it ends up being distracting, like who doesn't want to stare at a colorful swirly brain video instead of doing their work?? but for real, thank you for making these! Brown noise is the only thing I can listen to that actually feels like it helps focus my adhd brain while I try and get my assignments done so when people like you take the videos seriously and put effort into it, it means a lot. 🙌
