This is why the animation community hates Dan Schneider.

Everyone brings up the peanut butter dare. Yeah it's weird, but has reasonable doubt of "a joke that went too far," a gag of "hey dogs like peanut butter, I dare you to cover yourself and have a dog lick it off you because that's absurd," trying to find fear factor stuff that could be done by kids. No one is bringing up "sing the national anthem while wearing a diaper." There's no way around that, that was clearly fethis, either humiliation or diaper. All the other dares I remember had an element of "biological reflex instinct that it's not good," like "gross because we instinctually know that it's unsanitary," but there is nothing "biologically coded" for "sing a song wearing an article of clothing is not right," that's 100% "this is a violation of societal norms and decency."

I really need to watch the entirety of Quiet On Set sometime. It's disgusting to think that so many of my favorite old show were all operated by a Dirty Dan.

I hate how People since the documentary came out act like Dan created or ran Nickelodeon when he only created 10 out of the 394+ Original Shows/TV films and Theatrical films they released

the foot scenes from dan schneider shows felt disgustingly unconformable when I was first watching them if I'm dead honest here.

While I don’t mind kids shows taking some darker and more adult topics if done right or subtle,Dan Schneider at his worst is not one of those.
