Yoyoyoyoyoyo what's going on everyone? It ya boi here and today I wanted to talk about a couple of things that I think you should try to have more fun while playing Starfield. This kind of applies to all Bethesda RPG's honestly but for some reason I find it really enjoyable in this game.

All I'm trying to do here is help new players and veterans have some more fun! Hope you enjoy, thank you so much for your support!

What a refreshing take on Starfield. Everyone is so in a hurry they don't bother to learn and appreciate the developers hard work.

Slowing down is the best advice. You don’t need to run around everywhere like a chicken with its head cut off! Take the role-playing experience seriously. Become your character.

This. This is how you play Starfield. Excellent job communicating the message 👍

If you haven't found it yet, the elevator to the well goes to an upper platform overlooking the area below and the waterfall
  • I had two days of playing Starfield where I didn't fire a single shot on an enemy, just going through dialogues, a stealth mission and finding out a bit more about building ships. And I wasn't bored and thinking: "When will I get to shoot something again?!" That's what Bethesda games manage to do different than any other.

I'm glad they carried over the photo loading screens from 76. It gives you a reason to take time with your photos. Take multiple angles, and trim the fat in your photo gallery. You are left with a visual diary of your playthrough. Try to take pictures you would imagine seeing on a loading screen when framing. Good stuff.

I love the countless conversations you can have with npc’s. The voice acting is so good.

I love every word of this. Well done in every way. So many people need to see this. And follow the advice!

Starfield Captain Rolan Dryer here and after 250+ hours and on the 11th part of the main story I can confirm and very much agree with your two tips. Once you have played the game to this depth you understand why Bethesda made the choices they did. The game honestly has a steep beginner learning curve which probably put off the speed gamers/reviewers that disliked it . I run a few QOL mods for my enjoyment but overall the game is solid, not perfect but solid and I can see myself doing many playthroughs over the years. Oh and great video too thanks!

I totally agree with you. There is SO MUCH out there to explore if you just take the time to take it in and ENJOY YOURSELF. I am about 250 hours/3 toons in and absolutely loving the experience.

Finally a content creator that's telling me to play the game instead of urging me to glitch and finish asap and play the next game. These other creators act like it's a game to be played for ages, but are already into a NG+++ and about o ditch it and move on. The graphics, the music, the story all needs to be taken in. Good advice given here, thnx, you got my Like, Comment and Subscribe because of that.

Probably THE most sound advice I've heard. I've had Starfield from day one but taking my time grazing into the story with multiple playthrough's without getting far into the game, to find one I'm comfy with. It's wierd but I've done this with all Bethesda games. As Da1punisher said... you need to get over the hump. Good phrase that.

Well said. My personal gameplay loop has been (after nearly finishing the main questline): -Hit up random planets to see what shenanigans I can get into -Go back and do some miscellany sidequests Rinse and repeat. It's fun as hell, and I've never been a big Bethesda fan before.

I just focused on one star system at a time. Do all side quests for every town/city/outpost/starstation, scan all moons/planets from space, and then decide if I want my own outpost in that star system then after I'm satisfied jump to the next system and repeat. Done this all the way up to recruiting every constellation member except Sam who is still waiting for me to go to Akila but I'm to busy going on a date with Andreja in Hometown 👀 jk but I am in Hometown looking for more quests

This is exactly how I have been playing it. You keep being real like this and you’re going to do great on YouTube man. I subscribed, looking forward to more starfield content

Absolutely nailed it. 100 hours in and this game just blows my mind.

I am glad gave this review, I have been saying the same thing. Everyone keeps trying to find hacks or shortcuts to obtain X. I just say keep playing. There is no level cap and new game plus, slow down and just enjoy the game. It is an absolutely massive game. I plan on playing it completely through multiple times with different builds/ styles. I have been playing BGS games since Oblivion. I play each new game (-FO76) for years. There is no need to rush. Mods and DLC will also come and change this game even more. Just enjoy it. This is BGS at its finest. You either love there games or you don’t. I have been enjoying every minute I have put into this game so far.
  • This is great advice, especially the quip about slowing down. It's a great reminder to take time to actually learn the game, learn the controls, the combat and the systems. Good stuff.
  • Exactly right. I was underwhelmed at first but the more I played the game it began to click. The more you take your time with it the better it is. Landing at dusk in the rain at Neon and walking to the core instead of just fast travelling there makes such a difference to the immersion and atmosphere of the whole experience. Fast travel is there if you're in a hurry. Like you're going out soon or something. It doesn't have to be used all the time. Great video and great advice 👍

This is spot on, I can have a 2 hour play without getting into any kind of a fight and never regret it
