Spoiled Rotten on Marco Island

We've overstayed our welcome on Marco Island; barnacles have taken over our anchor chain. They'll need to be dealt with but first there is more to see and do on this southwest Florida, Ten Thousand Island gem. Eventually we'll have to leave this place but not before we visit its famous farmers' market, get fishing tips from a local, and learn to make our own water.

After nearly non-stop travel we were ready for a break. Marco Island, on Florida's southwest coast in the Ten Thousand Island area was the perfect place to stop and rest. We intended to stay a week and ended up being there for six. But if you're going to be stuck somewhere Marco Island is the place to be.

If you’re interested in the foldable bikes that we use, check out the Zizzo Urbano add on Amazon: amzn.to/3irZFs2.

We get so much feedback and interest in the headsets that we wear on the boat. Made by EARTEC, the UL2S UltraLITE headsets can be found at this Amazon link: amzn.to/3Ggo4bW

We are so stoked to finally be able to put quality drone footage into our videos. After crashing our first drone into the St. Johns River (never to be seen again), we have purchased a DJI Mini 3 Pro. Highly recommend it as a portable drone that takes great photos and 4K video. You can find it at this Amazon link: amzn.to/3IrU3ZC

  • My parents live in Marco and we love going to visit. I would love to live full time on a boat in the Marco Island area.
  • Nice video! Nothing like scraping barnacles from a chain! Just a few more weeks at work for me, then a quick stay in the boatyard for routine haulout....and I'll be heading your way!

Who did you get to scrape the bottom in Marco Island? We are here now and need it done too. Thanks for the videos!!
