3:55 the reason Tyreek brought up his relationship with Mahomes is because he was trying to give an example of the direction they were going in, and his similar past experiences. He was trying to say that he and Mahomes didn’t just jump out of the gate with the perfect chemistry and connection. They had to build it. That’s what he was trying to say that he and Tua were still in the process of ironing out. The only reason he mentioned Mahomes is because that’s the only other NFL QB he spent enough time with to have the time to build that kind of connection with. It could have been Al Bundy, that part was irrelevant to the point of the story.

I used to look forward to this show a few years ago...

Almost 4,000 yds in a two yr span with them I don’t get the Tua hate.

100% life Dolphins fan. I love Tua, he is a great “system” QB. Tua is not a backyard QB. You just run around and make a play that was not designed…that’s not Tua, he does not have that. Also, the fact the Phins are always playing any playoff game in cold weather is an issue…goes all the way back to Marino having to play in Buffalo every year for a playoff game. Miami is a team in a division of cold weather opponents. Would be different if our division was Tampa, Jacksonville, and Atlanta.

Judon is a beast. But, he cant talk too much smack to Tua.........since Tua is unbeaten against the Pats

Miami doesn't lose in December and January because its cold. They lose because by that time defenses already know McDaniel's offense and McDaniel doesn't adjust. He keeps repeating the same plays over and over, so he make it easier for the other team to stop them. Miami doesn't lose on defense on December and January, they lose on offense.

Chiefs and mahomes really be living in Tyreeks head rent free 💀💀💀

You're at work. All you need is a great "working" relationship.
  • Tyreek ain't the sharpest tool in the shed. He passed on 2 more SB rings for the extra 5-6 million dollars the Dolphins threw his way. Hopefully that extra money will cushion the blow, especially when Mahomes and KC wins another 2-3 rings before he retires.

Tyreke talks alot. I learned when someone talks that much 95% of what they say is just noise.

Tyreek was being asked about Mahomes in the interview. He brought Tua up unprompted.

Dan Murano told them all that we absolutely need to win these home games.

Tyreek has been there for two years and still doesn't have a friendship that has full honesty with Tua? It seems to me from the outside that the accountability isn't there from an organizational standpoint. If you're honest - even if its harsh - in the film room, practice field and locker room, then being honest at dinner is easy. Its just a continuation of an existing conversation. That said, Tua is pretty defensive (sometimes argumentative) in his pressers so maybe he doesn't take critique very well. Mahomes has come off the exact opposite where he either owns up to mistakes or takes blame for things that aren't even his to claim. Its probably a lot easier to talk about things with Patrick because of his personality and because the Chiefs organization doesn't care as much about feelings as they do getting better and winning more. I absolutely love Mike McDaniels, but I wouldn't be surprised at all if the atmosphere is a little more touchy in Miami than it is in Kansas City.
