I think arteta is thinking about all systems to approach any outfit that come arsenals way. With calafiori, timber and white who can all play as fullbacks as well as in a 3 is starting to look special. Very hard to concede less than 20 goals in the modern game but but arsenals 98/99 season of 17 conceded could come close in the next few seasons

Don’t forget Pep has had, and always had a huge amount of Defensive resource, Dias, Laporte, Akanji, Ake, walker, Zinchenko, Otamendi, John Stones, Cancelo, Rico Lewis Sergio Gomez. The list is endless, and all have played their part. Injuries to defenders haven’t disrupted City, as they had so much quality on the bench. Arteta is attempting to gather the same squad strength to compete. Calafiori is exceptional, and will amazing cover if Saliba or Gabriel get injured. We were very lucky with those 2 last season where they played nearly every game.
