LYRICS Time to put my metal on Whose blood to spill? I don't know Whose side I'm on? Two armies are coming at me Their flags and weapons look the same One tells the truth, the other's lying And they're both calling my name This is how villains are made This is how villains are made Ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh, oooh No one ever starts that way But this is how villains are made Time to put my metal on Whose neck to cut? I don't know Whose side I'm on? There lies my sanity There goes my mind, I could not save I don't trust what I see right in front of me I don't know who to betray Ah, aah, aah, aah Ah, ah Ah, aah, aah, aah Ah, ah Ooh, ooh, oooh Ah, ah Ooh, ooh, oooh This is how villains are made This is how villains are made Ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh, oooh So easily we're persuaded When the lines are blurred and faded No one ever starts that way But this is how villains are made This is how villains are made

Instantly liked this when it played on Chucky. Glad to have found another good song.
  • Her ability to deliver the slight dark energy through her music and achieve the dramatic effect is amazing
  • Her voice and unfaltering gaze gave me goosebumps. Underrated song - if Billie Eilish released this, it would have millions of views ~ I hope Madalen continues releasing more music

This popped up in recommendation. Very good YouTube this song is really amazing. Her voice is hypnotic and the lyrics are perfect.

She's fantastic. Its like a mix of billie and halsey but with her own twist to it I love it
  • This should be the theme song for the movie Cruella. It perfectly captures the negativity and demons that exist not just within a person, but in an environment that fosters anguish.

Didn't expect to like this song after hearing it in the pilot episode for Chucky .. yet here I am. Actually is a good song and the meaning of it worked for the scene.

"How long my ears have been denied these sounds, how long my mind these thoughts. Everything is different now, not one thing remains the same. These words have all been spoken, these notes have all been played. Just in a different order and on a different day. Now my path has forked in the middle, a new direction I must choose. The one thing I've come realize and quickly I must say, this song I will keep playing, until my dying day". - B.T. Driscoll

Thank u chucky for introducing me to this amazing artist
  • This song hits different when you're depressed and struggling to keep your head above water
  • The visual alone was triggering enough for me, but that voice, and those lyrics sincerely brought it home for me. Truly therapeutic for someone that has suffered abuse and can't let go of the anger.
