I love this!! So easy, great results! I did this to my 99 Ford the first time this aired (made the "sweet" little attachment for the compressor) People could not believe how "clean" my motor was. When my neighbor complimented my motor I said "thank you." My husband said you didn't have anything to do with it as he thought they cleaned it at the car wash. I told him I cleaned it! I ended up cleaning his motor too as to convince him I did it; looking back I think I got bamboozled into a free cleaning job! lol

Another great video, that happened to me when I sold a car. The father did the inspection and gave the approval to buy, he was really picky and impressed on how clean the engine bay was. Thanks for sharing!
  • @geoffkeller5337
Sir, you're absolutely right about this. Of course we should be doing this regularly to keep everything looking great just as you have. Thank you for sharing your knowledge, tips and tricks.
  • @petematthews7303
I have done this exact thing on my 2006 Tahoe, and it truly does make the engine compartment look amazing!
  • @Ed-eq8ui
Great video! The best part -- wiping the engine bay by hand rather than blasting it with water from a garden hose and risk damaging electrical components. Nicely done.
  • @marstondavis
The best part about this application is you're not forcing moisture into electrical fittings under the hood.

Oh, I love this! My Corsa truck is 24 years old and we always cleaned her engine bay every 4 to 6 months and it's a joy to service or work on. One big thing you did not say is, clean the underside of that hood and put some car polish on the paint work and shine it up, it realy finishes off a clean engine bay. My car enjoys Sweet Project Cars almost as much as I do... 🖒

Thanks, Mike, I’ve done this once on a vehicle that I was selling. I applied it to a warm engine in the hot Australian sun….almost as good as Pensacola sun!
  • @robjohnson6747
Guess I got off the turnip truck too early because I missed the part where he said the name of the product used to clean the engine
  • It's been a few years at least since you did a video on this method, using Turtle Wax tire foam which then was cheaper than Armor All. I've been using this method successfully for years now and it works great. I use my leaf blower on high setting since I don't have a compressed air contraption. That Mexican horn addition ROCKS!
  • @nkystevep7007
Did I miss the part where the name of the product was mentioned? Looks like something from Armor All
  • @alexguzman5547
That's a quick way to boost the resale value. Great tip, Mike. Sure it's going to help a lot of folks get a good price for their vehicle. 👍 As always thanks for the tips and I hope you guys have a great week.
  • @mfnryt
Great tip. I actually started doing this to the vehicles I flip. Works great.
  • @tonymarkham4045
Have gained valuable knowledge from this chap over many months. Enjoy the tips and products. 😊
  • @bignasty.c.185
Been doing this the exact same way for years. Nothing faster or easier. Nice WOW factor. Great vid!
  • @rickdff62
My brother, you are absolutely correct. Most people don't even know what their looking at but if it looks clean and shiny, they'll be like hell yeah this car is CLEAN, ha!
  • @gregspencer8472
Saw you do this in a video quite a while back. I did it, and it did an amazing job. I was blown away by the difference.
