Mondo is one of those rare athletes you simply can't take your eyes off. Like Usain Bolt, Messi, Gretzky, Michael Jordan, Ali, and select others, you just HAVE TO watch. Every time he performs, something very special could happen, and you almost expect it. Yet, it does not become routine, but it continues to amaze.

I have come back to watch this 7 or 8 times today. The magnificence of the achievement. The roaring of the crowd. It's such a powerful moment. I've only gotten to watch 6 Summer Olympics in my life, but I can say with confidence this is by far one of the greatest Olympic moments I've ever had the pleasure of witnessing.

Great to see Sam K and the rest of the group cheering him on. Billy Mills was in the stadium watching, and he commented that this was the loudest he has heard a crowd at a track and field event.
