Something I noticed about Sabbath and Ozzy right through their history is that they were always extremely polite to their audience.

We will miss you, Black Sabbath. The world wouldn't know what Metal is without you. If Tony didn't make his sound bigger to fill in for the chords he couldn't play, we wouldn't have Metal. If Ozzy didn't send out the ad for a blues rock gig, we wouldn't have Metal. If Geezer didn't switch from Rhythm guitar to bass, We wouldn't have Metal. If Bill didn't buy a drum set, we wouldn't have Metal. Thank you again for showing us what Metal is, guys. We will all miss you.

This is where heavy metal all started. It's so sad it had to end, but at least they went out with a bang, instead of slowly fizzling out. This show was epic, it's too bad I wasn't able to go. ALL HAIL THE METAL GODS!

I saw Sabbath with Ozzy in the 70s and again about 20 years or so ago. Now I can brag!
