1:06:52 Jokes aside, I think that's one of the points of Frireren. They're all developing their emotional maturity together. Frieren herself is developing from this home schooled kid who don't know much about human interaction, to someone who's starting to get it more. I think every flashback is an introspection where something clicked for Frieren or any of the characters. And developmentally, it made sense. Flamme have to focus Frieren because her time scale is comparatively short. So there was not a lot of time to teach her about what it means to be human. There were only tidbits. Fern also suffer from the same developmental problems. Her parents died when she was young, and was stuck with an old priest (that sounds really bad, I know). When Frieren finally got to her, it was all the same. Nothing but magic.
