Very good, intense work, with a lot of things happening in barely six minutes. A worthy opening piece for any concert.

love how there's so many up and coming female conductors and composers etc and how much more accepting the classical music world is becoming of them.

I listened to this concert "out of order," starting with Barber, continuing with Lutoslawski. This made the perfect "encore." Fantastic piece that should show up in the concert hall more often.

Lebhafte und wunderschöne Aufführung dieser spätromantischen und fein komponierten Ouvertüre mit gut vereinigten und perfekt entsprechenden Tönen aller Instrumente. Die intelligente und geniale Dirigentin leitet das ausgezeichnete Orchester im relativ schnellen Tempo und mit möglichst effektiver Dynamik. Einfach wundervoll!
