  • Nice, glad you went back to show us how to do the adjustment otherwise it would have been a waste. Where can I get that wire set?
  • @8180634
@rustyATV - You can use the tool to adjust the TPS on your carbureted RFS motor, but it may not see as big an improvement as the fuel injected bikes. However on the carbureted adventure bikes, especially the twins, I'm getting feed back that adjusting the TPS makes a very big improvement.
  • Sweet you just saved me from. ...buying the one for 100$ ...SWEET..can blow it another way...it is a good thing you've done...keep them coming
  • @a77nature
thank you really very easy after having a tips with you .
  • How do u do it with ktm sxf 250cc 2012 kick start only do u do it same way bike starts but dies after 7seconds plz help
  • @rustyATV
If this an issue with the carbureted RFS motors, as well?

hi , perfect your video. I need help with my bike. I have an er6n, and I need to know if the adjustment is the same to it!? thanks
  • @MidwestUTV
How did you like the performance after adjusting to .64 volts in this video?
  • @nadascurb
Looks awesome! I wouldn't say it totally negates the need for a power supply, but could in a lot of cases. If your bike doesn't have an ignition or if your bike won't start because the TPS is so out of adjustment you would still need the power supply. Having said that, this is way easy easier!

Do you know if they had this TPS before efi because my 04 exc has that or a similar sensor and I can't tell if it's TPS or some kind of auto fuel shutoff solenoid to keep the bike from flooding when off or tps whatever it is I think it's bad or in need of adjustment because carb/Jets/lean and rich screw are clean and worked flawlessly at this elevation until all the sudden it started to bog and stall when you attempt to accelerate without choke on so I think the tps is in need of adjustment or broken fuel solenoid is stuck in the off or broken position not sure what it is or if it's broken is it difficult to pull these sensors out are they attached to anything???
  • I have a map switch programmed and installed at the dealer, should the setting be the same? Also, how do you keep that bike so clean? It's like as if you never ride it.

This works great on my 2015 Ktm 450. But when we tried on a 2015 Ktm 350, it was way too rich. What is the voltage recommendation on a 350?
  • @evancarender
Hey I just bout a tps tool for my 2018 ktm 500 excf and I have not received the tool yet but I was out fooling around in the garage looking at getting to the TPS and on the 18 model it is not as easy to get to in your video. Instead of the rubber boot there is a plastic cover that has part of the Frame right on top of it? Do you have any suggestions ? Thanks
  • @lamp7777
Hi, do you think this would work with the 690? Looks like the same connection.
  • Hello, I built a similar cable and tried it on a Husaberg 350-2013. The bike does not have the ignition key, and then I tried to briefly press the start button but without starting the engine. The tester does not mark anything!   Should I start the engine and let it idle?
