I get lots of flack for this but any time we went on vacation our last stop was a laundry mat. Two hours later all was washed, dried, folded, and returned to suitcases. Once home all is put away and I have a day to readjust to being home!

I never did chores growing up. My relationships and personal life used to suffer from the consequences of my own laziness. I just had to tell you that you are one of my biggest inspirations! I got married three years ago and just had our son 6 months ago. Your videos and way of living have inspired me to love homemaking and make my home clean and beautiful for my family. I thank the Lord I found your channel when I did (2 years ago) Thank you!

You are just the exact definition of the Proverbs 31 woman. You are such a role model to us mothers and homemakers. Thank you!

I’ve been dealing with major, debilitating prenatal depression. It’s been so overwhelming. This video gave me the encouragement to push through for the day and get a few more things done. Thank you.
  • I love that you have an older model washer and dryer. I have an old one too and it’s been running forever. New appliances just can’t compare to the older models! It’s like they are made to last only a few years.

Idea on dish washer, you wash the dishes by hand as usual and use dishwasher as your drying rack.

How on earth do you do it all?! I am so impressed. I have "only" 3 kids, a cleaner once a week, I don't homeschool and I only have to go to work, teaching at my son's school, half a day a week... yet I complain I have no time and feel overwhelmed with all the tasks regularly. Your vlogs really help me put things into perspective and enjoy homemaking more. Thank you!

I wont be able to sleep knowing that black sock is hiding behind the high up baskets in your cupboard 😂 please remove it and update me 🤣

Love how talkative your son is, following you around. He’s so cute. Just wants to hang with mom!♥️ Your philosophy on minimizing your clothing, toys, kitchen stuff etc is very wise. I can see how that functions well and makes your life and job as a mom, more pleasant and enjoyable ! Good job Lisa!!!👍🏼😊♥️

Been watching your channel quietly for a few years now and just wanted to say thank you for sharing what you’ve learned along your homemaking and mothering journey in an honest and artistic way! I’m one of 9 kids and have 5 of my own now, and it’s affirming and fun to see your solutions that are working for me too - like simplifying EVERYthing and swapping out seasonal clothing or layers… with lovely baskets for storage. :) Seeing you doing what YOU were meant to do well encourages me to to the same. Thank you!

you have so much to do everyday. just laundry for a family of 10 is a monumental task. meal shopping, prep, cleanup 3 times a day and you homeschool!!! amazing love for your family.

You inspire this 65 yr old tired lady to do better in getting clutter or things we don’t really need gone. Dealing with my husband going through bladder cancer the last 2 1/2 yrs has put so much on hold for me. No energy to do extra. He is much better as of this week just needs to get energy, stamina, balance, strength back. Maybe I can get some things done. Thank you. 💚

LOVE MY SPEED QUEENS!! I will never go back to anything else.
  • I'm always surprised by how many people can watch a lovely video and NOT give it a thumbs up. At this time, it has been watched 132,000 and there are only 7,300 likes. Come on people!
  • @bethanyreimer
My rental house doesn't have a dishwasher! I don't even own a drying rack as of yet, but yes doing dishes after every meal helps so much keeping things under control.
  • I will never own anything other than a Speed Queen washer & dryer. They are simply the best!!
  • When I wash dishes by hand, I almost always drain everything in the empty dishwasher. I also have an older washer and dryer… I believe in fixing things! My old dishwasher was 32 years old when it finally gave up

For front load HE washers, if I have something really dirty such as muddy clothes, I will run a quick cold water wash without detergent before I wash the regular wash cycle. This action makes the dirty clothes heavier because the clothes are wet when I begin my usual wash cycle; therefore, the weight of the clothes determines how much water goes into front loader. Personally, I would never return to a top loading washer HE or the old fashioned agitator. I wash cloth diapers using this method, they always come out clean, and stain free. I hope this helps someone!

I love watching your videos. They always make me feel calm and relaxed. Your voice & back ground music are so soothing.
