It has been a lifelong dream of mine to visit England, so thank you for sharing your visit with us! I ordered and received in the mail this week your three books, and have begun reading Lessons from Madame Chic. I'm loving it so far, and plan to share them with my granddaughter (age 15). I talk to her about you all the time and know she can learn so much from you! Have a safe trip home!

This is calming, tranquil, beautiful and picturesque. You are truly gifted and appreciated. I felt transported to the lovely, peaceful English countryside, a place where problems may seem less pressing when considered over a cup of tea. As a person who has an empty nest, and has stepped back from a high paced career, I recently find myself longing for a slower paced, finer, traditional way of life. I look around hoping for signs or glimpses of this life, but sightings are rare in our fast paced, over scheduled, disposable society. I realize creating, my own version of a slower paced, traditional routine is under my control. So I'll start by dusting off my Wedgewood china, my crystal, my silver cutlery, silver candlesticks, my linen napkins, and tablecloths. I'll begin by dinner serving for my husband and me in my seldom used dining room. I'll start a new routine which is intentionally thought out, with traditions I choose. Thank you for your inspiration. 🌸🩷🌷

Your pondering of “home” and “away” spoke peace to me. And built upon an article I read today reflecting upon the essential value of setting my pace for life from the way I live at home. The two words emphasized were respect and kindness. I need this from others. I want to measure my interactions always by these rich values. I want this to be the tenor of my days.
