My partner, Tati Teixeira, and I completed this animatic together for a project in one of our classes. We were asked to take a fairytale and put a spin on it for a storyboard, while also imitating an art style. So, we decided to imitate Jin Kim's magnificent style for our storyboard.

Rapunzel lives in a beautiful home with seemingly everything she could ever want. However, behind closed doors, she is berated for never meeting her mother's high standards. After her mother finds out about the romantic relationship she has been desperately trying to hide, she decides enough is enough. Rapunzel "lets down her hair", leaving it on her bed as she flees in the night.
