You captured her innocence, her naiveté, even when departing from classic hair and dress. Wow. You have my deepest respect.
  • The real Alice, Alice Liddell, who Lewis Carol wrote Alice in Wonderland for was actually a brunette and I imagine she would have looked just like this, at a bit older than we have pictures of her (she's usually about 6 or 7 in photos) but I think you nailed her soul beautifully!
  • @PinkCappuccino
I love how you reimagined Alice with a ceramic rabbit ! Amazing! 👌🏻🐇
  • @LiobaBrueckner
My favorite painting of yours! I'm so inspired to paint with oils again after seeing this! 😍

The restrain you have to not overdo and overwork things is soo cool mate, if i were you i probably would've over painted or would've went too heavy on the gold paint or something. You just find that sweet spot to finish the piece every damn time and I absolutely love it
  • @DiabolicalAngel
Stunning rendition. Also really interesting that you chose to depict her as either an older teenager or a young adult. The burgundy for her dresd was a great touch too! Splendid work.

I loved to see your planning process and how Alice turned out! She has such a modern look to her, but you captured the softness and timelessness of her so well - I could see your Alice in a Jane Austen movie too, like you could put her in any time period, modern clothing aside. I don't know how you managed to transform your reference so beautifully, but I'm truly stunned! (Also the repainting stage really made her pop, that was so cool to watch)

This painting just takes my breathe away. I love your interpretation of Alice in wonderland. So elegant and just, so so gorgeous. Been watching your videos for a while and I have just fallen in love with your style of art.

I've been painting since I was 3 years old. I am now 54 and paint every single day. It is rare that I find a painter I love watching. You are awesome. Thanks

This is wonderful. I’ve been working on my own Alice in Wonderland project (not necessarily a painting) for several months now and have struggled especially with Alice’s character, however I think you’ve brought her to life in the most brilliant way possible. Capturing her childlike personality and innocence, along with her gentle love, this piece of art shows her perfectly. This is a huge inspiration to me, and I thank artists like you for sharing your talents. 💜

Gorgeous! It seems as though you've captured the 'real Alice' in reverie. Since her 'adventures' all took place in her dreams/imagination, it's as though we're seeing her both in reality (the ceramic rabbit, the realistic model, and the more historical outfit), and getting a peek at what is going on inside her imagination (the flowers growing in a very fairytale-like way around her).
  • @laurawgarts
She is beautiful and the porcelain rabbit is perfect! I always look forward to watching your creative process and stunning end result! 🎉 Cheers!

I admire your work so very much because of the surprise elements, and the fact that you aren't afraid to do things differently. Choppy and elegant, bright and yet tempered, and subtlety make you work step above and shine. My son asked why you hadn't painted the background all the way around Alice's face, and I told him: because you didn't want to! It's what makes your work stand out.
  • This painting is absolutely breathtaking. The eyes are what I find the most beautiful here, they look, just the exactly perfect way as I would have wanted as well as a fellow artist. Captures the darkness behind her Wonderland, and as another comment said, her innocence and sadness as I interprete it.
  • @VictorBaroni0
What a great video! your work is so clean and I love how you choose the hues ^^
  • @brittapuyn3026
This porcelain rabbit is the perfect symbol as it combines the white rabbit and the tea party ❤ the background is stunning! I love every part of this painting!
  • @jameswall3801
The balance between music and instruction is amazingly done. ❤❤❤
  • Wow! Alice in Wonderland is not my favourite story, but you made her into a very adorable & attractive person. I love it, stunning work!
