The fact that Alan Shearer won the title with Blackburn and NOT with Newcastle is just Mind Boggling!
  • That west ham draw vs. Man utd is as much a part of west ham’s folklore as it is a part of Blackburn’s. Ludek miklosko’s finest hour in a west ham shirt, of which he had many. The fans still chant his name to this day, over twenty years since he last played for the club, and I’m sure when people do, they do it with fond memories of Blackburn winning the league

Amazing Blackburn Rovers winning EPL under the guidance of a king Kenny Dalglish 👏👏👏

Jack Walker-the best premier league club owner to ever live

I was at the game against Coventry in '94 when the title slipped away. At full time the Coventry fans invaded the pitch and ran straight toward the area housing the Rovers supporters. I was expecting real trouble, but as they got to the touchline they all just stopped and gave the Rovers supporters a round of applause. It was awesome!

Greatest moment in Premier League history for me. The nostalgia of that 90s premier league era is special. The day little old Blackburn shocked the world. Great memories!

One of the best stories of the Premier League. Rovers taking it to the big boys and beating them when nobody imagined it to be possible. A life lesson for us all to never give up and to think big. Anything is possible! Thanks to Uncle Jack, Kenny, Shearer and everybody who played their part in putting Rovers on the map. Fantastic memories, fantastic days. It's a disgrace what Venky's have done to Rovers. Hopefully the club returns to the Premier League soon, it has been too long. Jon Dahl Tomasson looks like a man on a mission at Rovers. Come on Jon, let's restore a part of the Premier League furniture.

Truly feel this great achievement isen't talked about enough. Yes Leicester was the ultimate underdog story but this Blackburn team has almost been forgotten with time. Great video.

Rovers had the best of Shearer…which is often overlooked by the pundits & Geordies! Ludek we salute you!

I remember literally the whole country wanted Blackburn to win. My first game I went to White Hart Lane was against Blackburn in the 93/94 season and we lost 2-0.
  • I don't care what anyone says Shearer's best years were at Blackburn. He was unstoppable between 1993 and 1996, even more impressive given the serious injury he'd came back from. Shame Rovers fell away as a title force after 1995. The nucleus of the squad was still there but Dalglish "moving upstairs" was a huge loss.

One of my glory-hunting mates picked Blackburn as his team on the back of those few years where they were chasing the title. He’s stuck with them now.

Rovers and Leicester are two small clubs that have written themselves into history. Nothing can ever take away being champions of england

My stepdad used to slap the hell out of my older brother. He was also a huge man united fan. My brother says this is one of the happiest days of his life, seeing Blackburn rob our stepdad of a happy afternoon

Its nice that Leeds are back in the Prem after 16 years away. Now Blackburn have to get back in. I've only gone to one Premier League game and that was at Ewood Park in 2008

My team! Got goosebumps all the way through this. I still remember to this day my dad listening to the Liverpool game on the radio and saying Rovers have won the league, I was 8.
