The Yamaha Raptor 700R ATV is still a beast and remains a dominant force on the track and on the trail!

It's been 10 years since AJ's last review of the Raptor and the industry has changed so much since then with only a handful of pure sport ATVs still being manufactured. Check out what AJ has to say about this monster in his full ATV review.

Grew up on 3-wheelers and then naturally moved to Banshees and then a Raptor 700R...in 2017 I switched to SXS’s and almost immediately felt like something was missing. After two years I realized I was missing my love for riding sport quads. I sold my SXS and got into another Raptor! Best thing I ever did!!! 👍🏻👍🏻

Raptors are a very good time and definitely unique! Cool to see some good content on them!

Its a beast, and it's a one-of-a-kind. There's never really been any other quads in the big bore sport quad market; at least not any that could compete with the Raptor.

Bought one new in 18, se model. Basic bolt-ons with a safe dyno tune on pump gas and 60whp is mighty hard to give up. Bought a new yxz se spring 21, and, while very fun, there is just something almost magical about the raptor; its nearly perfect
  • I absolutely love my 2006 Yamaha raptor. I modded the beast, 105.5mm piston and cylinder with a stage 3 cam, plus 3mm intake valve and plus 2mm exhaust valves, 5mm stroker crank installed, Hinson clutch basket, plus few other things. I can ride next to a Polaris rzr 1000 and it's tapped out on top, I'm in 4th gear I can pull it up, then shift in 5th and it's stupid fast. Yes, it's got taller sprocket up front and as small as I could find out back. Plus 22" tires in rear with 23" tall up front. Been riding for over 40 years. Still enjoy it every chance I get

Still love my Raptor 700 as much as I did the day I bought it new in 2011. Apart from the starter relay failing early on, nothing has gone wrong with it.

2:59 I’ve never heard something more accurate. I love this quad man

just got a 2022 700r. i am falling in love with it. i am not used to this level of fit and finish quality. i ride it for an hour and the engine is almost cold after 5 minutes when i stop the engine. my polaris xp 1000 was overheating all the time even in very cold weather. in canada we have 20 years 160 000 kilometers warranty on the engine no charge with yamalube products exclusively. i mean this is confidence in the quality of your products. i keep it stock. the stock power is more than enough for such a light machine.

this is my dream bike. probably will never get one but the speed and power!!!

  • I’m getting ready to get one of these to trail ride with. It’s just fun..
