This just popped into my feed. I wept a little with how much I miss this drive, having taken it so many times around 1990, both with friends and as a student at HVCC. I'd leave class for the day and make the drive to Bennington in my 1978 280Z rust bucket with a cool Clarion cassette deck and lots of music to listen to. :) It's been nearly 30 years since I moved from NY and going back home is always a treat, having had a couple of bucket list trips to the Adirondacks the past few years. I was also once that guy on the 2-wheeled sport tourer in front of you... this was THE ride to experience the wind, the sweet smells and the incomparable views. THANK YOU (albeit 13 years later) for making this... I'm now a subscriber.

Correction: The interstate from Route 155 to Route 5 (0:30 - 0:45) is Interstate 87, not Interstate 89 as marked on the title page.

what memories here all words are useless why even try better to watch and be silent as one right word after another comes
  • 2:26 Yep, there are those signature Albany patchwork roads. See how the car is constantly rattling and bouncing? That is everybody's money going down the drain on constant re-alignments, tires, and suspension work. This city has the worst roads I have ever seen by far. Shameful.
  • You are going way too fast and you are literally rushing through this travel route. That music is horrible, where did you find that noise from because it is lousy!
