  • I’m very much looking forward to seeing the M3 Parkway line being extended to Navan, having family still living in Dunshaughlin - coupled with a LUAS extension to the Irish Ferries/Stena Terminals at North Wall via Dublin Docklands, it will make coming home from Manchester Piccadilly or Manchester Victoria via Chester, Crewe or Lladnuo and Holyhead so much easier, regardless of whether or not they do eventually build the high speed rail tunnel under the Irish Sea between Holyhead to Dublin, although less likely because of the failure of HS2 in the U.K. - in my 23 years living in Manchester and coming home to Ireland frequently on visits to family, Irish Rail are so much better than the U.K. rail networks by comparison, precisely because they are not privatised
