100 hp per liter na is cool, a ls3 6.2 only makes 70 hp per liter at the flywheel. looking through a narrow lens here, but these numbers are closer to a lsa supercharged 6.2 making 580 hp with 6.2 liters + a 1.9 liter blower to add. crazy to think a 7th gen k series did that N/A XD (note i know this is modded honda vs factory warrantied stock engines from gm)

For those wanting to do this, you do not need to buy an aftermarket fuel rail. Stock fuel tails are efficient enough to handle this horsepower.
  • This was a great video, you know your stuff and explained it all great. One of the best videos i’ve seen with all the info i’ve been lookin for
  • @NWShooter
Your videos are super helpful and useful! I appreciate the information

Great video man. Just bought a donor accord type s to start my swap so appreciate the info!

Had a 06 civic that I blew the motor in and slapped a k24 out of a tsx in and tunned with kpro by someone I found online , and he got it right ! Running 5.0s down
  • On the oil pump where you able to use all the same bolts the six for baffle and the 3 for the oil pump chain tensioner
  • I have a k24 in a 04 accord has skunk 2 header, manifold, and fuel rail. Battery was relocated so it can now fit a k&N intake with the box trying to find the headlights with the hole though them its not fast and i cant really push it with a AT but it is enjoyable

I just learned more in 10 minutes than I did in 1 year. I have a 2004 Accord EX with the K24A4 5 speed manual with 150K of well maintained miles. Right before the pandemic had the whole car serviced. Timing chain, water pump, clutch, brakes, etc . (so just the i-vtec) . I used to have a 1995 Integra GSR. Originally, I was thinking that I could change out the top half of the engine and make it a true V-TEC but it sounds like I would need to change the pistons and rings, ecu, and the oil pump to unbalanced? Should I just chuck the A4 and get the A2 or can I build on what I have? Or do I turbo the A4? I want to have something similar to my GSR NA far as performance. Thank you in advance!

Cool video, thanks for sharing. Doing my first swap now. It reminds me alot of the heros journey. So many people have done, but it still feels like an initiation. Clean setup. The only thing the vid could have possibly used is a start up. Left me wanting to hear it.

They upgraded the intake cam on the 06-08 TSX. The 04-05 and the JDM K24a are the same through and through. The intake cam is just a tiny tiny bit larger on the 06-08. No biggie guys.

Just bought an 08 si with a JDM K24A swap. Has unknown stage 3 clutch (supposedly) and some sort of cat back exhaust. Super fun car. Any tips or issues i should look out for? Any insight would be appreciated. So far (2 months in) this things a blast!

Good information bro I appreciate it

I'm running Kfrank K24a/Z1 with basic bolt ons and a dyno tune. It's not the fastest but sure is a hell of a lot of fun as a daily. Got a rear sway bar and poly bushings, motor mount inserts and stock shocks. I'd really like to add an lsd, buuuuuut it's more money more money... Honda is the BEST!
  • @emac6446
Hey nice build bro 🔥I have almost the same setup I was going to ask if the rbc would cause any damage running it on a stock k24 with the regular vtec degree ? Basically I’m asking if your set up will be good if you were to leave it like that
  • @soggycivic8594
06+ tsx (k24a2) does have the better cams (bigger secondary lobes) but all k24 came with 25deg vtc. They never came with an rbc vtc cam gear, you have to install those yourself out of any k20 engine (including base model) 👍🏼 you can also pin the k24 vtc to have it fixed at 45deg, any more and you run the risk of valve to piston contact
  • @moonship1946
Did you gasket match the rbc manifold to the cylinder head ? Was your air intake 3.5" ?
