  • The main focus for markets now is Nvidia, which has powered a large chunk of the S&P 500’s recent earnings. Nvidia’s stock, up more than 90% this year, rose 2.5% in New York on Monday, sending the Nasdaq 100 index to another record high. I'm still looking for companies to make additions to my $350K portfolio, to boost performance. Here for ideas...

I have a 3 fund portfolio consisting of 33% S&P, 33% Total stock, and 33% international. I feel a need to focus on complete growth so I went 100% stocks, but does the SP500 and TSM overlap too much to make sense holding both? However I’ve been in the red for a month now. I work hard for my money, so investing is making me a nervous sad wreck. I don’t know if I should sell everything, sit and just wait but watching my portfolio dwindle away is such an eye -sore.

Nothing soothes the soul more than a daily optimistic dose of Tom Lee

One question, please! Is NVIDIA a safe buy to outperform the market this year? I'm tired of these new buys every week, just to make up some assets with a low percentage on my $236k portfolio and try to keep everything around 10%.
  • I' ve got £100k to invest. I want to build a nest egg for when I'm older. I want to know if it's a good idea to add all my savings into a long term ETF, set and forget Come back in 20-30 years, instead of 250-300 DCA every month. Which ETF would you recommend.?

These comments are funny, this man has been right more than anyone else recently and he did a great job in his tenure during telecom era and internet bubble

80% equities 20% cash. I plan to take advantage of the next market downturn where s&p 500 will drop below 15%, the issue is how to allocate stock/bond ratio properly for steady gains, yet the indicators are playing a trick on us with ongoing economy turmoil.
  • That's good to know. I currently have 231.896 shares of VOO 💪🏽
  • @michaelswami
You’re right about the math challenges. If NVDA is 50% more, then DAX is 2/3 of NVDA.

I can't take Tom seriously......he's not too bad with S&P stuff, but he constantly predicted Bitcoin above $100K in '21 and most of '22.......then predicted $150K+ by end of '24..... not sure what he uses for prognostications.
  • @Brayness
Just bought my 2030 SPX 10k LEAPS, thanks Also, it's important to consider that big 2.25% 10 year trade could be a cheap hedge
  • @andrewt9434
This is exactly why I bought nothing but qqq every pay check 1,000 a month or so since Jan 2022 GLAD I DID THAT when all headlines said buy energy and value hahahaha no thanks. tech rules the world and will forever going forward.
  • @bobbymainz1160
I started my 250k portfolio last year with SCHD, VOO, and VUG after watching one of your videos. In terms of share price, VOO is way up (22.25%) and VUG is waaaaay up (39.62%). Thanks for the education! Will this provide solid cashflow?
  • That hair and those spectacles are a trademark of Tom Lee, besides the optimism he possess !
  • @tpf4292
Tom Lee actually mentioned a very important point that plays a huge role in macro economy, and that is demographics
  • @DNin210
Tom Lee... first time I listened to him years ago, I was like who is this joker. Didn't take long to learn this guy knows his stuff. One of just a few voices I listen to and have been trading for many many years
  • @zNervouss
Holy balls. I just bought 300,000 shares of VOO.
  • @samsilva1864
This man has been pretty spot on for the past couple of years. I don’t know why other newscasters still refuse to take him seriously.
  • @Tevez875
80% equities 20% cash. I plan to take advantage of the s&p 500 as leading indicators predict above 10% rise by this year, my only issue is how to properly allocate a large stock/bond portfolio for substantial gains at minimum risk.
