The Telecom (sauna) commercial in a nutshell. Man shouts across the lake: "I put the sauna (fire) on. I also have beer. The beer is on me.". Then all the people come from around the lake because they heard the magic word "free beer". So the premise is that if you had a GSM phone, this would have not happened to you. Sometimes we label these things under the word "humor". This commercial was on TV at the time mobile phones were a new thing (there was still both the NMT and GSM networks).

The commercial at 6:50 is for mosquito repellent of the brand OFF, and it is Finnish. The man is speaking in a Finnish dialect from Lapland, a.k.a. mosquito hell.
-
The fist coffee ad is about craftsmanship. The care that people take when they are passionate about something. It has several versions with different people doing different things.
-
The one at 6:11 -Good morning! -You bought some gnomes? -Yes. 500 pieces. -How much did it cost? -24 000 000 euros. -Quite expensive. -Yeah. Life is. -"Life is." Life expensive, dna cheap. dna is a mobilenetwork operator.
-
Remember Finnish TV commercials from the 60s to 80s, they where pretty good back then.

You must be very talented in languages. OFF commercial has different Finnish dialect. An old guy from Lapland says: ” Don't you man of the south shout away mosquitoes when you can use OFF (mosquito repellent) 6:47 Lapland dialect is close to Swedish Meänkieli.

I think finnish commercialrely much on dialogue, the same way finnish music often emphasizes lyrics. If one doesn't speak the language, they don't necessarily seem to be really about nothing.

Respect Siwa.

Hej ! Finnish advertising films were directly aimed at the Finnish market and as a foreigner it was impossible to understand anything. All of Europe is moving towards alignment, though. Good or bad, that's a fact.

Osaatko hyvin suomea jo

Your friend chose bad commercials from decades ago. 😂
