I would like to complain about the lack of diversity in the Zulu ranks

The battle foretold the defeat at Kambula. Ending the winning streak of the Zulus.

Zulu warriors besides their shield carried two assegais one a long one for throwing a shorter one for stabbing along with a club known as a knobkierie. They were trained to engage the enemy in pairs.

Your animation and commentary are excellent. Thanks.

So windy that rifles were tumbling through the air.
  • This was one of the most engrossing sims yet. Well done. Communication is really really important. Doctor Stone is a Japanese Cartoon. He talks about how Communication is the most important thing in a battle.

Excellent commentary. It would be nice to show aerial views - so that the lay of the land, position of forces, etc. etc. is more easily discerned.

The irony, scorning Zulu marksmanship only to have a horse shot under and an officer killed next to him. That was a near Sedgwick incident.
  • The British seemed to underestimate the strength and tenacity of their enemy

This style of warfare is up close and personal. As is most warfare!!!!!

That Colour Sergeant, there right at the end...sounded awfully familiar....
  • nice made video, thank you. But what are these greenish things flying in the air?

Damn how on earth did you manage to get those two horses shot and then have wood escape on his own. That must be quite difficult.
